Maru ni Futatsu Biki Tie

【Maru-ni-futatsubiki】The Hiki-Ryo crest, or Hiki-Ryo mon, is believed to have originated from the curtain used on the battlefield during the Genpei period. The military curtain was made by sewing five pieces of fabric together, with the middle piece dyed black, called 'nakaguro'. This is called 'Hitotsu Hiki-Ryo'. 'Futatsu Hiki-Ryo' is made by layering fabric in white, black, white, black, and white from top to bottom... I wasn't sure what to expect but was excited to have a tie for my husband which matched my wedding attire. A super easy process taking a photo of my dress and uploading it to the website. I waited in anticipation not knowing how it would turn out. I couldn't believe the quality, its excellent. The print, pattern and colour is strong and vibrant. I have uploaded a photo but its difficult to see the tie against the dress because the quality is exceptional. I would have no hesitation using this company again.
