Masonic Colourful Truth Romantic Love Friendship Playing Cards

This vintage collectable Victorian Freemasonry playing cards design is a copy of a restored original by Currier and Ives, New York, first published in 1874. This romantic design features the motto "Friendship, Love and Truth" and includes an all seeing eye symbolising the benevolent eye of providence, romantic red roses of love, a linked lovers' chain, two lovers' clasped hands, a honey bee hive which symbolises working together and a bundle of sticks which is an ancient Roman symbol meaning "we stand together".
