Matisse The Snail in oil by Danny Duck Poster Notebook

Danny was always fascinated by the famous Matisse artwork of gouache on paper that was then cut and pasted onto a base layer of white paper. Arranging the shapes in a spiral pattern it was titled "The Snail". Danny tried to replicate it but wasn't happy with the results so instead he painted a version in oils. This is Danny putting the final touches to his painting and he is very happy with the results. Remember art can be by anyone and is for everyone. Different tastes, different requirements, different expectations. Art in one form or another may appeal to only a few, sometimes more, and sometimes many. That is what makes artwork so exciting.
