Buy your friend this fleece blanket that is covered in a mediaeval heraldic style with vair, ermine, quarterly and bend divisions. A monogram G is incorporated. The colours are red and yellow If you're into renaissance fairs, this is for you. You probably have seen a family crest ring on somebody's hand. Usually they contain some animal, like a heraldic lion. But often they show typical heraldic patterns. I particularly like the bold colours and clear geometric designs. For instance the furs, or in this design the "vairy or and gules" and ermine.
