Mediaeval Russian Bogatyr Sherpa Blanket

A depiction of a battle between a Russian bogatyr and an Asiatic warrior, both on horseback. Cyrillic (Russian) text reading "Богатырь"(Bogatyr) also appears. There are two places for you to add your own additional text. Bogatyri are heroic characters found in mediaeval Slavic epics. They are akin to the knights-errant of Western literature. Most of the stories about bogatyri revolve around the court of Vladimir I of Kiev (958–1015). Some bogatyri are presumed to be historical figures. Bogatyri protected Russian land and people against invaders, especially Tatars. Some were attributed powers and strength which were almost divine.

The fabric is really soft, and thick, I’m sitting here with it wrapped around me and it’s so warm! It’s really smooth and sleek on the printed side and fluffy on the back. I love it! Fantastic quality and the size is brilliant. Already looking at what other products are on the site as I will definitely be buying from here again. Absolutely fantastic. Some images came up with a warning as I was making the blanket but I didn’t have another copy so I went for it. I expected the photo to be really blurry but although not as clear as the others it is much clearer than I expected.
