The Triumphal Arch of Maximilian is the largest woodcut in the world, and at the very top of the drawing beneath the arch is seated Maximilian I, Holy Roman Emperor in full armour holding a globe in his hand, surrounded by symbolic animals as symbols of his great power. The menagerie includes a variety of birds and a double-headed eagle, a rooster, lion, bull, snakes, a faithful dog and rolls of papyrus.

Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world!
