"Edison's Conquest of Mars" was an 1898 novel that was a sort-of sequel to "War of the Worlds." In the book, Thomas Edison reverse-engineered Martian space ships so that he could build such ships for the Earth. He then leads a team to the red planet, where they bring the fight to their alien enemies, eventually razing the planet and ending the threat of future attacks by the Martians on the Earth. This shirt bears a logo that this team might have worn on their mission, with an Edison light bulb superimposed over the surface of Mars.

The item was heavier than I thought, which is a good thing. A lot of t-shirts these days are made from low quality thin cotton which don't last. This is much thicker cotton that should last much longer. The print was centred perfectly. It is a good size and the colours are nice and vibrant. Exactly as the image shows.
