A mediaeval illustration from The Crusader Bible, also known as the Morgan Picture Bible, that dates from the 13th Century. The French Gothic manuscript depicts scenes from the Old Testament. In the scene on top, David is offered the hand of Michal, King Saul's daughter. The bottom scene is David fighting the Philistines to win Michal's hand. Great gift for someone interested in the history and art of the middle ages.
