The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo Masterpiece Painting - The Creation of Adam is one of the most famous paintings in the world, created by master artist Michelangelo in Rome. The Creation of Adam is a classic fresco that Michelangelo painted in Rome's Vatican, on the Sistine Chapel, in 1511–1512. The painting shows the almost-touch of the hands, between God and Adam. The image is an iconic Renaissance painting. Both God and Adam have their arms outstretched to each other, as if God is generating a spark of life into the new man Adam. The Michelangeo painting shows Man's likeness to God, showing God created humans in his own image.
