Knock, knock. Who's there? Mid Century Modern Orange Pattern Ping Pong Paddle! Hey, with a design this retro, you don't need a punch line. This perfectly mod pattern features a vibrant orange background and rows of an adorably kitschy shape in green, red, turquoise, black & white, and wood grain. The shape probably has a name, but, for the life of us, we don't know it! Whatever it is, it's a definite tribute to the atomic era of the 1950s and 1960s. Buy this product and name the shape yourself. What about, "Betty"? It sort of looks like a Betty to us. Orange you glad we are so funny when try to get all of the important catchphrases into our write-ups? Zazzle, jet-age, space age, sophisticated, whimsical, Strange Little Onion… We just thought we would throw in a few more catchphrases for good measure. Thanks for your purchase. Overall, it's a nice product but for what you pay the quality isn't very good. The way it's glued together, as you can see in the pictures, is messy, the glue is visible and shiny, there's some ink staining that looks like black fluff but isn't, it won't come off. On the paddle's black surface there are also little white marks here and there. It's not too easy to show in the pictures because of the flash but I tried to showcase the little white blemishes that ruin a smooth black surface. This was meant to be a gift and it just looks sloppily put together unfortunately. A few imperfections that mar what could have been really great. The printing was neat.

Quality of paddle is ok I think and the writing is legible. The colour was meant to be light blue stripe with name in middle (first image) and it's come dark blue so merges with the black background (first image) unfortunately.
