Mistigris from "The City Curious" Postcard

Mistigris is one of the curious little beings who were known as "Wigs", in the book "The City Curious". This is a pen and ink drawing by Jean de Bosschere (1878 - 1953) of Mistigris, with his large brimmed hat and black curly hair, carrying a quiver of fish bones. "The City Curious" was illustrated and written by Jean de Bosschere and published in 1920.
