'Misty Morning' Pillow

It was very early one Summer's morning when we launched our inflatable dinghy from the lovely, peaceful Cornish riverside village of Golant. The mist was thick, with visibility down to a few feet, but we know the river and the way out to our small sailing boat mooring very well. I didn't start the dinghy engine----didn't want to break the wonderful silence or mask the plops and splashes of fish rising and jumping around us. So I rowed gently and easily in the slack-tide. By the time we reached the middle of the river, the heavy mist was lifting quite quickly, and Chris took a few pics. She later worked from them to produce this lovely watercolour painting.
