Monet Lilac Irises iPhone 6 case. Oil painting on canvas from 1917. Monet painted irises throughout his career, this is one of his final iris paintings and certainly one of his most haunting. The work is heavily impressionistic and the dark purple irises almost seem to be floating in water above their dark green foliage, the sky above is soft blue and purple. I have this and the other two I ordered (too lazy to rate all of them) on my phone. I am sending one of them to my best friend so am excited for her to receive it. One of the pics with my children and best friend didn’t center as well as I wished but I did get a warning that it wouldn’t. Still not sure why it didn’t but no big deal.
