Moon Goddess Chang'e Invitation
5” x 7” pearl shimmer invitation with an image of Chinese Moon Goddess Chang’e or Chang-o. Black and lavender border. The back is lavender with a black border, an optional Moon Goddess symbol, and customisable party details.
Originally known as Heng'e, she is the subject of several legends in Chinese mythology, most of which incorporate several of the following elements: Houyi the archer, a benevolent or malevolent emperor, an elixir of life, and of course, the Moon. In modern times, Chang'e has been the namesake of the Chinese Lunar Exploration Program.
