Murchison Falls, Masindi, Western Region Magnet

At Murchison Falls, the mighty Nile River is squeezed through a narrow seven-metre gap in the rocks before plunging 43 metres into the 'Devil's Cauldron'. The sheer force of the water creates a permanent rainbow and a thunderous roar that dominates the surrounding landscape. The park surrounding the falls is Uganda's largest, home to a wealth of wildlife including giraffes, lions, and vast numbers of hippos and crocodiles along the riverbanks.
