I was experimenting with a macro lens and trying to think of subjects that would work well with said lens. My husband is a professional trombonist, and he has a lot of music lying around, so I gave that a try and this was one of the results. I love the intimacy it gives to the notes on the page, letting you get a feel for the ink set down on paper and how the symbols translate into beautiful sounds.
