Napoleon Crossing the Alps poster. Oil painting on canvas from 1800. French artist Jacques-Louis David’s Napoleon Crossing the Alps is the most famous depiction of the French general and emperor. The work depicts Napoleon riding a white horse on its hind legs with his red cape flowing about him and his right hand pointed forward towards victory. The piece was painted five different times with differing tones and brightness. This version is the Belevedere issue from 1800 and features the darkest reds and blues. A great gift for fans of Jacques-Louis David, Napoleon, French history, and French art.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
