A narrowboat is a particular type of canal boat, built to fit the narrow locks of the United Kingdom. The UK's canal system provided a nationwide transport network during the Industrial Revolution, but with the advent of the railways, commercial canal traffic gradually diminished and the last regular long-distance transportation of goods disappeared in 1970. However, some commercial traffic continued. From the 1970s onward narrowboats were gradually converted into permanent residences or as holiday lettings. Today, approximately 6000 narrowboats are registered as permanent homes on Britain's waterway system and represent a growing alternative community living in semi permanent moorings or continuously cruising. It’s such a shame ! I ordered this in January with intentions of it arriving for Valentine’s Day. I gave more than enough time for delivery. I ordered it the second to last week if not the last week of january. It arrived February 27th! Sorry after Valentine’s Day and a month later ! It’s such a shame that the delivery took ages because the quality is amazing ! I would have been happy to have paid an extra £10 for faster delivery … it comes from Ireland but I shipped it to England… should not have taken that long! I could have flown over there myself and flown back faster. Despite this I would recommend the product. I would just order 1.5 months prior to when you need it ! The glass is a good thickness and the printing is great quality ! Definitely a hand wash product tho !

I was delighted with the quality of this product. Nice thick glass. It should stand up well to getting used on a regular basis. Just the right size for holding a nice cool drink. The print quality was excellent? The colours are vibrant and really stand out.
