Electromagnetic radiation (EMR) from wireless infrastructure (cell towers, Wi-Fi, small cells, smart metres) and devices (cellphones, smartphones, tablets, wearables) affects nature: it confuses birds, animals and insects that depend on reading the earth's magnetic field to orient and migrate, and it causes oxidative stress and DNA damage--the latter leading to infertility. 5G, which uses millimeter-wave technology, is expected to target insects and amphibians especially, and could potentially wipe out not only the bees but other insects as well.
