NC Wyeth , was an American artist known for his realist paintings and illustrations. During his lifetime, Wyeth became one of America’s greatest illustrators and he created over 3,000 paintings and illustrations. His early trips to the old west inspired images of cowboys and Native Americans that dramatised the frontier. This painting is called “Cutting Out” and depicts a cowboy on horseback with a whip cutting out a long-horn steer from a milling herd of cattle.

The application of this decoupage paper was very simple , applied with PVA glue on a plywood surface. The colour stayed true to paper before application . I used cling film to apply over ply wood , no wrinkles , very pleased with the result.
