This is the new flag of Montgomery, Alabama, adopted on May 5, 2026. The City Council voted 6-1 to adopt the new flag Tuesday night in response to a petition by high school students. The flag features a gold and blue star representing the city, with nine smaller stars, representing each City Council district.
