New York Blues Stretched Canvas Print

The strong imagery in this painting immediately commands the viewers' attention. There is storm, possibly a tsunami that is about to engulf the city. Early one Saturday morning many years ago, I awoke and begin to work on three paintings. This was one of the three paintings. I honestly had no idea what the subject matter would be, had no plan in mind or any reference material, such as a photograph. But the work quickly began to take form. To this day, I still don't' understand how I created this painting in the manner that I did. However, at the end of it, two things became apparent: there is a huge storm in New York city.
