New Zealand birds PIWAUWAU Rock Wren T-Shirt
Number 5 in my series of 6 New Zealand birds. Rock Wren, know by the Maori name Piwauwau is a lovely little bird that lives in the South Island of New Zealand. They have distinctive large feet and a long hind toe. It can fly a few yards at a time between rocks. I made a mural of 6 birds a few years ago, recently I decided to recreate these designs to share them with a wider audience. I used Koru patterns. The koru (Māori for "loop" is a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolising new life, growth, strength and peace. New Zealand has so many wonderful birds, we are lucky to have them.

It's exactly what I've expected it to be being it regarding printing or quality of material itself. True white color is what I wanted and is sometimes hard to get but it's as wanted and expected. Quality print in as "alive" colors as one could expect them to be is what I wanted and got it. Even customisation I did was prefectly matchet with what already existed on origina tee design.
