No More Tithing T-Shirt

Indeed the New Testament does have something bold to say about the ordinances of the Mosaic Law, such as tithing; and that is that they have been cancelled, abolished, and brought to an end completely. There is NO MORE TITHING! Followers of Jesus respond with same love He gave and give from whatever they have to help those around them in genuine need. The early believers gave to meet the needs of their impoverished brothers and sisters in Christ - not to finance lifeless buildings with power point projectors, fancy padded chairs, luxurious offices, and a pastor's salary. The early Christians didn't even build church buildings. They met in their homes and fellowshipped by having meals together. They shared their possessions and no one stood above the other. Tithing is an offence to the freewill nature of the truth Christian life. It's the same error the early believers made when they tried to mix the legalism of the Law with their faith in Christ. Paul said to the believers, "Those of you who try to earn God's approval by obeying his laws have been cut off from Christ. You have fallen out of God's favour." (Galatians 5:4) Indeed - NO MORE TITHING!!! The way of those who follow Christ is entirely free from the dead ordinances of the Law and certainly from man-made religious legalisms like monetary tithing.
