Dorothy Day is known as one of the founders of the Catholic Worker Movement, an effort to open houses of hospitality and "agronomic universities", or teaching farms that serve the poor. She's also a candidate for sainthood in the Catholic church, which is ironic because another one of her quotes is "don't call me a saint, I don't want to be dismissed that easily."
