If you have never been to Macungie, you should try to visit soon. A very friendly town ! Macungie is named after the Lenape word "Maguntsche", which means "feeding place for bears". The bear is often utilised as a symbol of Macungie The next stop for this manifest freight will be Reading, Pennsylvania. This line was once part of The Reading Railroad, then became part of Conrail.
