Northland Barge in Unalaska Bay Postcard

The Northland barge is being towed through Unalaska Bay on Unalaska Island. The Makushin mountains can be seen in the background, with leftover patches of snow from winter which will remain throughout the summer. The Northland barge is headed for the docks at the southern end of Captains Bay. The barge will have to pass through a narrow channel which connects the two bays together. This photo was taken from the western beachfront of Dutch Harbour, Alaska.
