Notebook - Mediterranean Passage To The Sea

Notebook with a print from an original acrylic painting in which I focused on rendering the rugged, sun-bleached surfaces of these ancient Mediterranean white stone walls and the dark, recessed stone archway. A strong sense of depth is created by the grey steps leading the viewer’s eye towards the contrasting view of vibrant green palm leaves and the profound saturation of the deep blue sea. The canvas texture is prominently captured to give the print an authentic, painterly finish.
