She wore a rose colour garment with designs of plants for Her Worldly association and a turquoise blue robe with gold stars for her Heavenly association. When the Spanish Archbishop demanded proof of a miracle She provided Spanish roses which the Aztec Juan Diego took to the Spanish Archbishop in his cloak or tilma ... when the roses spilled to the floor there appeared the image of the Virgin Mary upon the cloak tilma. This image still exists encased upon the altar of the chapel built upon the hill in Mexico City. This image is one of the most popular of devotional images in the World, today. Esta imagen aún existe encerrada en el altar de la capilla construida sobre el cerro en la Ciudad de México. Esta imagen es una de las imágenes devocionales más populares del mundo en la actualidad. Siempre se la muestra rodeada de luz deslumbrante ... así se le apareció a Juan Diego. I write this note in January 2026 ... 4 1/2 years ago, I was driving home after working 2nd shift, when a semi truck crashed into the back of my small car crushing the upper part of the back end of my car all the way up to my rear window shoving my car and me across the highway, over the median, turning my car a full revolution ending up onto the shoulder of the highway on the opposite side facing oncoming traffic. I was miraculously unharmed and able to open my driver door and exit my still running car. The semi truck never stopped. It was a hit and run accident. In the rear of my car was this badge just like the one shown here. Still perfectly unharmed as well. Same day I walked a half mile to see a doctor to get approved to return to work immediately same day except I still needed to replace my car. I still drive the car I bought then. I am now age 73 1/2 ... I was age 69 when that semi truck crashed into me. I often wondered if having this badge clipped to my lunchbox was proof of a miracle. mark Now, I am writing this on Saturday, June 27, 2026, 5 years after I survived a semi truck rear ending my small black 2009 Ford Focus about 12:15 to `12:20 am June 16, 2021, about half way home after working 2nd shift at Bartonville SC2, totalling my car, sending me across the median ending up facing oncoming South-bound highway traffic up onto the shoulder of the road there just inches away from Southbound traffic. Shocked, I was miraculously totally unhurt! Cops gave me a ride home as I had no one to come get me. And the next afternoon I walked the half mile to Proctor 1st Care to get a doctor's release to allow me to go back to work same day except I had no car to drive there! The doctor had to ask me again to tell her that I walked the half mile there to see her after a semi truck ran into me at full speed! When I went to get my things out of my car, I found my lunchbox with this badge still on it! As soon as I bought the car I now drive, I went back to work. Absolutely no one would believe my story!
