Num-Num the cat (named for the sound she made while eating) had the run of our neighbourhood; my next-door neighbour had a soft spot in his heart for her, and put out food regularly. This largesse enabled her to raise uncounted litters of kittens.... She was quite tame and friendly, and posed for the camera as if she knew she was destined for fame.
