Nymphs and Satyr 1873 Tie

Almost twelve feet tall in the frame, this notorious Nymphs and Satyr painting dominated a wall at Manhattan's Hoffman House Bar, New York City. The voluptuous image that scandalised Victorian society was used on Hoffman House cigar boxes, licensed to appear on saloon signs and in advertisements for whisky and tobacco products. After the bar closed in 1901 the painting was purchased and hidden from public view until 1942 when it became part of the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute collection. I wasn't sure what to expect but was excited to have a tie for my husband which matched my wedding attire. A super easy process taking a photo of my dress and uploading it to the website. I waited in anticipation not knowing how it would turn out. I couldn't believe the quality, its excellent. The print, pattern and colour is strong and vibrant. I have uploaded a photo but its difficult to see the tie against the dress because the quality is exceptional. I would have no hesitation using this company again.
