Here, Jesus, seated upon His straw-filled manger, wears a white robe decorated with a gold cross and stars. At the centre of the cross on His chest is a quatrefoil containing the IHS, one of several Greek monograms for His name. He raises His right hand in blessing and holds the Christmas tree upright in His left.
