Obviously this is a night ocean painting - originally it was painted by hand in acrylics with a very precise set of waves and then I went into the computer and used a watercolor filter which made it look very interesting and then I used a smudge tool to try and get some spray / foamy look to it. Overall, it is interesting anyway and I like it for the very real look it ended up having. I like how it captured the look of the waves at night as the lights from the shore catch the foam, leaving nearly everything dark behind it.
