Odlion Redon Large green vase with mixed flowers Poster

Poster inspired by a lovely floral pastel by French artist Odilon Redon (Large green vase with mixed flowers, 1910-1912). Odilon Redon often painted supernatural subjects, and was even able to make a motif as conventional as a still-life look otherworldy. He chose brilliant colours, and also maximised their intensity by using complementary colours (yellow and purple, green and red), and then there is this very special background. Very pleasing to look at, but do the flowers have a table to stand on or not?
