IN VERMONT WE CALL THE SPRING SNOW THAT IS WET AND HEAVY "SUGAR SNOW". THIS PARTICULAR SNOW MARKS THE BEGINNING OF SUGARING AND SPRING TIME. IN LANCASTER, PA. THE AMISH CALL THIS SNOW "ONION SNOW". IT ALSO MARKS THE BEGINNING OF SPRING PLANTING AND THE HEAVY FLAKES ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE THE PEALS OF ONIONS. I THINK I CAPTURED THE MOMENT, I.E. THE EXCITEMENT OF SPRING AND THE NEW LIGHT ALONG WITH THE HEAVY WET SNOW, I LOVE THE EMOTION OF THE CHANGING SEASON.
