They are rare and beautiful and under severe threat from the activities of humans, e.g. forest\habitat destruction from housing and palm-oil plantation operations, poaching, illegal smuggling to private zoos etc. etc. Their numbers are extremely low and if nothing is done to help protect them immediately, extinction is a very real prospect in only a few years time.
