Orangutan Mother and Baby on Island of Borneo Magnet

Rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra are the only places in the world where orangutans exist in the wild. This magnet shows a famous animal mother - Akmad, who graced the cover of National Geographic magazine in October 1975, as the toddler on the ground, holding the hand of Dr. Birute M.Galdikas, who founded Orangutan Foundation International. Her baby son shown here is named Atlas. Rebecca Reeder is a volunteer with orangurtan conservation on the island of Borneo, and she donate 100% of the artist profits from the sale of this magnet to support the work of O.F.I.
