Oriental rug design in bright oranges apron

Bright orange vintage Oriental rug motifs decorate this apron. Alma Wad modified and adapted the illustration from "Oriental rugs, antique and modern" (1922), exhibiting Anatolia's nomadic styles. The middle field background has three vertical panels with octagonal discs and latch-hooks facing each other. Latch-hooks and lozenges in the border may form a tree of life. Expect combs, destiny knots, and S-forms.This design is full of symbols and mystery.
