Original 2014 Valentine's Day UNICORN MinkMug Two-Tone Coffee Mug

You have someone you love. And maybe this special someone loves Unicorns, too? Magic, fantasy and mythology? Perhaps he or she also loves art and appreciates the passion poured into it? Well, not to put too fine a point on it (I crack myself up), here's a great way to celebrate all that love in a truly unique and special way! In honour of LOVE, this colourful mug features my own original design with two stylised Unicorns derived from my RunequineTM series, with tails interlocked to form a heart. There's lots more symbolism, though! For starters, the spirals convey the crazy, wild ride that is LOVE, often dizzy, unpredictable, and nonsensical but always the best party in town. They also suggest that LOVE spirals in on itself, feeding itself and self–generating, creating its own kind of gravity that brings us all closer together in joy and understanding. Now as for the colours, the purples, pinks and reds embody the passion, fire and intensity of LOVE. The teals and blues suggest the universal undercurrent and umbrella of LOVE in all living things, being both water and sky. The greens convey the living life force cultivated by LOVE as all things grow and bloom best soaked in its energy. And, finally, the black, which is made of all colours, shows us that LOVE is a binding mystery emanating from all things, buzzing throughout the Universe. And last but not least, the Unicorn is rich in symbology within the culture, magical and religious aspects of our experience, all of which often culminate into a symbol for LOVE, magic, the Earth and the divine.
