    Beautiful photograph of a fancy elegant hand held folding fan evoking memories of a time long ago. Made with delicate fancy lace. Pink and orange flowers adorn this fragile accordian style fan. Ornate patterns decorate the base of the fan made of a thin gold coloured metal and soft wood or perhaps bone to give the fan it's structure. The fan is resting on a beautiful red cloth and gives it an east asian flair. These type of fans were popularised by both southern belles and japanese geishas.
