Its interiors are the epitome of High Baroque luxury, with room after room filled with heavy silk wall coverings, gilded furniture, and walls packed with Renaissance masterpieces from floor to ceiling.
The Palatine Gallery within the palace retains the feel of a private royal collection, with frescoed ceilings that depict mythological scenes in vibrant colours. The scale is monumental, and the light from the large windows overlooks the Boboli Gardens, filling the grand halls with a warm, golden Tuscan glow.
