Palm Tree Branches, Afternoon Sun Cushion

In a tropical mood, the original photograph by MaeFlowers on this 16” Throw Pillow shows the top of a palm tree with its branches and trunk bathed in the warm glow of the afternoon sun. The long, pointed branches in the background are dark green, spreading out like fans. The branches in the foreground are a light yellow green, curving outward as they catch the sunlight. The tree trunk, normally a medium brown colour, looks almost orange in the late afternoon light. A pale aqua blue sky background sets off the rich earth tones of the palm tree, and completes the tropical scene. The photo is repeated in reverse on the other side of the pillow.
