Another piece from my Myths & Mermaids show at Pop Gallery Orlando at Downtown Pandora is a new painting based on the "Pandora's Box" myth. In my interpretation, she has already opened the box and behind her is a scene inspired by mediaeval monsters and demons along the lines of Hieronymus Bosch, Bruegel, and Huys (representing the evils of humanity released from the box). Amidst all the chaos, the last critter out of the box is "Hope" - which I have chosen to represent as a glowing butterfly. The butterfly and the innocence of Pandora's soulful dark eyes make this a painting of hope, despite the evils of the world. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
