Paper and Paint Collage Fabric

A spontaneous original abstract design originally created in traditional media using coloured paper and designer colour paint on paper. The design was then scanned and the background paper removed leaving only the coloured paper and paint motifs and marks, so the fabric itself becomes the background. The design only needed some minor alterations to make it into a seamless pattern. The original design was created in an A4 sketchbook so the pattern size in this version is very close to the original artwork. However the pattern can also be customised in a variety of ways, made larger or smaller, rotated and the background colour can also be changed.

The design is so pretty and the colours are subtle yet rich. The material the design is printed on is strong and great for cutting for upholstery. It is also soft to the touch which is great as its such a tactile pattern. The colours are so rich and just as the image shows!
