Paul McGehee "Zallinger Chapel" Xmas Card -Italian

Buon Natale e felice anno nuovo! An old-world holiday greeting card in Italian by the award-winning artist Paul McGehee. The famous Zallinger Chapel is located on the largest alpine meadow in Europe: The Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi, in the Alto Adige region of the Dolomite Mountains, in northern Italy. It is South Tyrol’s highest-located, consecrated church. Zallinger Chapel, dedicated to the Mother of God, dates back to 1857 and was then the first in the region. Every year, on the 15th of August (Assumption of Mary) locals celebrate the patronal feast day, a mountain festivity with a mass in the Zallinger Chapel. The majestic mountains in the background are part of the grouping known as the "Rosszähne"...the name translates to 'the horse's teeth'! This area of the Dolomites is very popular among climbers and skiers from all over the world. Each card comes with envelope.
