Diese schöne Karte des Pazifischen Ozeans veröffentlichte National Geographic zusammen mit einer Pazifik-Karte mit Meeresrelief im Oktober 1969. Die Karte ist eine ideale Ergänzung zu den Atlantik Karten von 1968 und den Karten des Arktischen Ozeans von 1971.
Auf dieser Karte finden Sie zahlreiche historische und geografische Informationen. So sind hier beispielsweise die Aufschlagpunkte der Apollo-Missionen von 1968 und 1969 eingezeichnet. Sie erfahren aber auch Interessantes über die Ozeanbathymetrie, über vorherrschende Winde und Strömungen und vieles mehr.
Eine Tabelle zeigt die Entfernungen über den Pazifik. Städte, Kanäle und Flughäfen sind ebenso dargestellt wie geografische Merkmale wie Gebirge, Flüsse, Seen, Inseln und Korallenriffe.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
