No need to be a mathematician or geometry fan to appreciate any of these gifts featuring a Penrose tiling exhibiting five-fold symmetry. A Penrose tiling is a non-periodic tiling generated by an aperiodic set of prototiles. Penrose tilings are named after mathematician and physicist Roger Penrose who investigated these sets in the 1970s. The aperiodicity of the Penrose prototiles implies that a shifted copy of a Penrose tiling will never match the original.

This is so good had this made for an employee who was retiring. Was able to put the staff photo in the middle and even put icons of his job role around the dart board.

It's really high quality and turned up very quickly. It didn't need to be as good quality as it is for what I wanted it for, but it's very good. Surpassed all expectations. The printing was perfect. It's a really high quality finish. It'll be a shame to ever throw a dart at it.
