Persian Carpet - Arabic art pattern, Emile Prisses d’Avennes, printed in the book La Decoration Arabe. (1885). This image is a photographic reproduction based on an antique is a richly detailed Persian rug with an intricate design. It features a bold, symmetrical pattern in the centre, utilising geometric and floral motifs. The dominant colours are deep red with accents of gold, blue, and green. I really liked this product, the picture is lovely and the colours are really nice. I wanted it to up-cycle a writing bureau and I was concerned that the paper may be too thin. But it wasn't and it worked fine. On the pictures I have uploaded the print looks a bit aged and not so vivid and new looking. As I wanted an aged patina but the actual print is clearer and the colours are brighter. The colour and prints are good.
