Pet Stores are Nasty and Cruel Bumper Sticker

Most pet stores get their puppies from Puppy Mills. Puppy Mills house dogs in horrible conditions and then get rid of them after they are of no further use. The cute puppies in the windows of pet stores have not been bred with the health of the dog in mind, and can suffer physical and psychological problems. Please Boycott stores that sell puppies and adopt a dog from your local shelter or rescue instead. You can even find purebred dogs (although mixed breed dogs are the most fantastic things ever!). (The corgi on the bumper sticker is Indy, and he is proof of the awesome, sweet, goofy, and loving dogs you can find at your city and county shelters.)
