Phone Case

This design is from a Japanese kimono fabric stencil that I bought at an auction. It's from the 1800's, and from it I made a colorful silkscreen print. The ethereal light blue background represents the serene depths of water, while the dark blue silhouettes of waterlilies create a striking contrast, as if looking from below the water line, but at the flowers above. Delicate pink highlights outline the lilies, adding a vibrant touch that mimics the play of light and shadow from above, evoking a sense of tranquility and elegance.
